Given that the Supreme Court has decided that the Lemon Test no longer applies religion effectively has veto power over any US law. So to be consistent they should decriminalize abortion.
Not religion as a whole, just evangelicals and conservative Catholics. SCOTUS is giving them preferential treatment over everyone else.
