The funny thing is for me, nerdy tycoon games (with in-depth financial data and complex business process systems) help quell stress and anxiety. 😆
To each his own I guess. I do like pure cozy games too.

It’s very validating to see people finding things that are not “traditionally” calming as calming. Really does prove to each their own, different people are different. I always need to have a goal, but “it’s the journey not the destination”. I need a destination to give me a journey, and the process of getting there can be very soothing. I can intentionally choose destinations such that the path to get there will be soothing, like knitting or any video game that does not frustrate me.
