I was sitting at my computer, less than 5 feet away from my laser. I heard something different and decided to check what was happening. I found several blobs of molten plastic and a 1" wide blob still on fire. Gladly I found out quickly, as the fire could have taken the MDF and cause a big trouble.

I found the final portion of my air line and the noozle fitting completely gone. It seems my air compressor decided it was time to die.

SO AGAIN: NEVER EVER LEAVE THE LASER WORKING ALONE.
