One modder took it upon themselves to turn their Steam Deck into a Steam Brick, a tiny little console that makes me really want a proper Steam Machine.

    I have a pc part picker list for a Steam Machine that’s already done for years now.

    But there are several great alternative cases as well, if the all black aesthetic isn’t for you. Just building a small computer is the most affordable way to go here.

    1. Get one of those mini PCs with a recent Ryzen G CPU.
    2. Install Bazzite on it.
    3. Enjoy your Steam Machine.

    I know it’s more expensive, but I’m wondering if buying a frame.work motherboard and 3d printing a case would end up with a better result.
