That sounds incredible, thanks for the dinner inspo ^^

An ‘allowance’ like that doesn’t always solve a homeless situation. Some folks have mental or physical health issues that force them into homelessness. Or they are in a domestic violence situation, where it might be safer to change your location every few days.

Billionaires are so obscenely out of touch with the reality that vulnerable populations exist in

My sweet cat waits for me at the door, even if I’ve just gone to take the dog out. It’s something I’ve had past roommates comment on too.

You can probably guess that she always leads me to her food bowl when I come back inside lol

The one that breaks my heart is the Christian counseling services, which are so often not true therapy. There are absolutely licensed therapists out there who are Christian and can advertise that. Just hate watching people who have serious mental health problems go to counseling and hating themselves because prayer isn’t usually enough to help.

I’m a firm believer that if there is a God, he provided the tools and people to help his flock deal with modern problems. But people often turn away from using these tools or services :(

I just went through 4 years of university as an elder millenial, the youngins still feel this way and I honestly thought it was a Gen Z thing. I’d never encountered the punctuation issue before I decided to go to school again

There’s a Fundamental Christian influencer named Aria Lewis who has that “insurance”. She’s been dealing with dental problems and basically made a post one day asking her followers if that insurance was a scam because she wasn’t able to get the care she really needed

It’s crazy what problems people fall into when they choose something has “Christian” in the name over what everyone else is using

I’m asking this genuinely, and not accusingly. Why do you think it’s slop? It looks like a normal fennec to me. It’s not my favorite type of fox, but it does look very typical of fennecs

Also, and maybe ai had gotten better at this, but generally it’s not able to generate an image with the tail wrapping around in the way this fox has

cause my face is NOT it

You actually have such a sweet, pretty face. And your eyes are very expressive in the few face pics I saw

Omg. I walk on the balls of my feet, those socks would be perfect

10/10 reference

I broke my spine in two places recently, and can’t really stand for long. So my docs had me doing some chair exercises to keep as much core strength as I can before I start physical therapy.

You’ll want to ignore the first ones that require planted or moving feet and focus on the dance, core, and upper body ones

Hope you recover quickly :)

I hope the evil cloud picks me today

My brain operates only on “are they a threat”, and within that is “are they a friend”. I can name only a handful of people I find attractive if I’m pressed, but it’s always on a “this human is art” level.

I’m aroace, though, which likely is why I don’t evaluate people for hotness

This happens even in states that have enshrined abortion in their constitution, like Montana. Where I lived in Montana we had to drive 2.5 hours one way for the nearest maternity center. It may absolutely be the case that abortion bans are causing these maternity centers to close in many areas, but where I lived it was happening because the rising costs of Healthcare, and the costs to entice doctors to “the frontier”, were too high for keeping the local (and quite poor) population safe and healthy

This is the law that protected access to abortion

The shape and height of my body means the seat belt digs into my neck, instead of going across my chest and over my shoulder. Low key, sometimes I wonder if I would be decapitated in a crash because of it
