Why do Americans keep putting such old people into power? Trump and Biden. Why not someone young like Obama?

I wonder how much of a problem Kojima actually was with asking more funds for MGSV. The game was amazing but was released with 2/3rds of its planned content. Seems to me Konami did a big mistake with not letting Kojima just finish the game on his own terms.
