I’m going to a Halloween party/movie night a film club I joined is hosting in a park later this afternoon. They’re gonna show Barbarian and another mystery film.

There will always be the rotating villain Dem that won’t support the party and allow them to get away with not even attempting to do anything.

They need to make AI generated code also part of what needs to be disclosed. I’ve seen way too many people putting up games with no disclosure that has AI generated code and when confronted they say “well all the player facing stuff like dialogue and art assets are human made which are the only things Steam requires be disclosed if those were made with AI”. Just recently saw some MMO called Spirit Crossing do it.

Edit: since I’m getting downvoted, I figure I should share specifically what I have a problem with using Spirit Crossing as an example. Just read through this thread.

Yeah the only time I’d care about YouTube drama is if it involves someone I like watching. Like I used to love watching Completionist, but then all the stuff about him not sending donation money meant for charity came out so I stopped watching. That’s about as far as I cared to follow the drama though. Maybe something more came out after he was called out with evidence, but I don’t care enough to go look cause I got way more than enough other people to watch.

Apparently some big name YouTube guy cheated on his wife or something? I never heard of him before, but every site I go on keeps talking about it. Most I can say is “cheating is bad”. Is that having an opinion on it? Like I don’t really care what happens to them once everyone moves on in a few days.

Problem is they know they’ll face no consequences for not doing that. Like the worst that’ll happen is conservatives go back into power in 2028 with maybe a Dem president. Libs can go back to just ranking in donation money and telling everyone that the 2030 election is the most important one of our lifetimes or the 2032 one. What a few peaceful protests that last a weekend at most every few months will change their minds?

Yet libs yell at anyone that dares to criticize or demand more action than just standing on roadsides on a single weekend every 8 months. It’s always “you can’t say that now!!! You’ll discourage people from supporting our party!!!” even when the next election is over a year away.

Only if we use the free time to physically hurt the people in power. If everyone just ends up sitting at home or on the side of the road it won’t accomplish much of anything especially since they know we’ll eventually return to work and they can outlast us.

I still remember when students at the local high school organized a BLM march from the school to the police station (a 30 minute walk) I saw so many posts from people in this town itching to shoot them if they even looked at their house weird.

North by Northwest is an absolute classic. I remember watching it in a high school film class, but I don’t think it really hit me till I rewatched it much later.

Yeah I’m working my way through Hitchcock’s filmography and really enjoyed this one. One of the most suspenseful films I’ve seen I think.

Giant was one I watched expecting a kind of alright film, but came out of it just in love with everything. It’s the only James Dean movie I’ve seen, but I have a few on my watchlist. Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden, Letter to Jane, and Has Anybody Seen My Gal.
