It does. They want a might makes right system for them to operate from. Its why Trump followed Putin in its logic. Trump got Venezuela and Iran that way. If we are lucky we will never know what AfD wants to get out of this.

I don’t think Putin is controlling them. They just want to grab opportunity of the dismantling system for their delusions of grandeur. Which is worse. That means that getting rid of Putin will change little because other shitheads will continue.

From mastodon viewing lemmy stuff is nice enough. It would be great if you could seamlessly crosspost and share between platforms.

It turned out that USA really is an empire and everyone else just a colonial subject…

EU is getting absolutely milked by USA. Expensive energy and expensive armament for Ukraine. I fear that Ukraine is going to join a financially depleted union that won’t have enough to cover for needed reconstruction.
Eh you are overreacting. But one thing is crucial, is she using any proprietary software out of her own volition?

Impreza is almost 4.5 meters long. How is that a small car? Are you a lorry driver?
Buildout and taxation would surely fix this. Everyone is doing everything else rather than building housing…sigh
This is about Stalins death…

I wasn’t aware of a “scene” in Hungary. Problem with reactionary ideas, while attractive, they are in constant opposition. No path forward.

China is probably the torch bearer of nonliberalism. Putin and Trump fucked up with their wars.

There is much much less anticommunism in exYu than it is in exCzS. Probably has to do with the fact that Czechs feel violated by the Russians while Yugoslavs have no such experience because socialism was genuinely home grown. It wasn’t brought by Red Army into Belgrade.

Yugoslav partisans got lots of weapons from the Brits. And soviets weren’t present at all when the western and northern border were fought for. It was actually disputed territory without clear line who should get what.

How is it western? Split from USSR was seen as a great thing at the time. Also non-alignment was seen as great strategic choice. Being bossed around by Moscow wasn’t really desired. Budapest and Prague experience solidified that view.
France is very indebted. It needs to either raise taxes or cut spending. Debt gets more expensive because its refinancing at higher rates. We have higher rates because of higher inflation. And inflation is driven by the oil shock.
Housing crisis is because of constrained supply. Foreign rich speculators bet it will stay this way. Not the dumbest bet.

Everybody will scroll past the clip. Association between the girl and the candidate will stay.

Uff this gives heavy dictatorship vibes

Ok. Then this is what happens during the glorious revolution. After the revolution, contrary to the last X times, we will have:
self-determined decentralized communal organizations
That was my thought as well.
