  • I guess that makes sense.

My only exposure to home health at all was an occasional drop in when I had a… damn I forget what it was called now. Similar to a central line but slightly different. Whatever it was, they would come and check on it, change out the dressing and that was it.

So I saw them for maybe half an hour at a time every week, or every other week. Sorry I’ve had a lot of surgeries and issues in the last 5 years and they tend to blur together.

I guess for regular (typically older patient) stuff, you would be around a lot more.

I have gotten way over nurses and doctors seeing me naked. The first time an attractive female nurse removes a Foley from you, you lose any chance of having a sexual reaction to that (unless that’s your thing I guess lol- and I know it’s somebody’s thing because I have run into it on the hub.

Or even if that’s not weird enough, having to go in to have a stent removed, you really, definitely are done caring about being seen like that.

But I’m regular life, I do stay clothed around everyone as an autonomous thing. Outside of medical staff (and my roommate who has to call the ambulance the one time), no one has seen me naked at all.

I’m also a single person on the grayish side of the ace spectrum, so it’s not like I have a ton of partners to look at me.

  • Exactly. When I first switched to Win10 (after it itself was just a free upgrade for me from 7, which I thought was odd for a corporate product), and saw the candy crush thing and (fuck I swear there was a second thing there, but I can’t remember) whatever that other thing was already sitting in the start menu, I knew on day 1 that that was gonna be my last version of Windows.

And then it got worse and worse. Luckily I’m that same time Linux was making huge strides with Wine and other compatibility tricks that by the time I got off the MS train I lost nothing as far as gaming potential, just maybe added a few minor snags to get everything nice.
