StarCraft’s iconic Terran soundtrack is the earliest game where the music really got me hooked into that 80’s synth rock/metal. Of course there’s also Mick Gordon’s Doom soundtracks, but that came in later and I was already listening to metal by that time.
no display at all behind the wheel
Ugh, it’s like the Volvo EX30 then.
The subcompact SUVs aka crossovers are essentially lifted hatchbacks. I prefer those because they have the same compact size but with better ground clearance.
Oh it was probably a different thing maybe, but it had the same concept of creating custom feeds hence being called Loom.
I haven’t had the chance to check it on desktop yet, but if it has columns, I’m sold! My pet peeve with most frontends is that they waste space on desktop. That’s why I’ve been using voyager because it has a 2-column layout option that sorta uses more screen real estate. I’ll definitely check it out on desktop asap!
My standard sling purse contains phone, wallet, keys, hand sanitizer, and extra paper napkins I get from restaurants.
He says it like he’s being forced to go clubbing. Nobody’s mandating you to go.
It would be good to preface the post with that. We are mandated to use AI at my work. While I’m in tech, I’m not a developer so I don’t code. However I’ve used codex to create tools to help my team automate some of the mundane day-to-day tasks we do. Whenever I share something, I always start with “I used codex to build blah blah”.
How do you store the oil, and how long does it last before it goes bad?
I remember trying out a fediverse mobile client called Loom. It has since been taken off of testflight on IOS. I wonder if it was the same thing. The UI does look similar. It looks great! It would be amaz if it can be optimized for desktop too.
It’s only as rogue as they want it to be. If you let an AI agent go wild without guardrails, of course it’s gonna go “rogue” and do whatever it takes to get what it needs to get. An LLM won’t say no unless it has specific instructions to not do something.
That’s what I always thought it meant, actually feeling dry after sipping. The sensation is lessened the sweeter the drink is though, which kinda makes sense too.
The 999,999,999’ers will become the new billionaires, as they’ll still have significantly more wealth than everyone else. The bar of greed just gets higher a bit because obviously they don’t want to cross that threshold and spontaneously explode.
Getting AI FOMO and mortgaging your entire company’s future for it. smh
Title should’ve been “The rise…”
Youtube’s community playlists are actually useful for this. Just search “songs like <title>” and it will give you some playlists. It won’t be perfect, but you can then build your own based on the songs you like.
If you’re a citizen, you’ll likely have less scrutiny. For an actual tip, disable biometrics on your phone. Apparently, they can use your biometrics to unlock your phone without a warrant, but they can’t compel you to give your pin code.
I was able to move my immediate family group chat to Signal. Unfortunately some of my friend groups are still active on facebook group chats. I end up rarely interacting with them, and if I ever do, I keep my messages short and avoid giving personal information.
