I’m starting to move away from Matrix, primarily because its metadata is not encrypted. So you might have a message that’s encrypted, but the emoji reaction like a thumbs up is not encrypted, and the time it was sent and received is not encrypted, and who it was sent from and to is not encrypted.

Not to mention that in Matrix, private key management for encryption in rooms and stuff like that is quite frankly a pain in the ass. Even I as a cryptocurrency user have trouble making sure that my keys are properly stored without fucking them up.

I would not recommend my friends or family members use it for these reasons.

Well, when I tried the one directly from the repository, my version of Android would not boot, but then I downloaded the one directly from Google and did the same commands. And it booted. So yeah, either it was a bug or something.

We had snow and ice for a couple of days this past week and it’s something I haven’t seen for several years since moving farther south. So it was quite frankly crazy to see what we got here.

I am excited because in the next couple of days I should be getting my meshtastic node and it’s the first time that I will be playing with meshtastic and so I’m really looking forward to it.

I don’t know if installing from the repositories is such a fantastic idea. I’ve had instances where I’ve almost fucked up a device because I installed the ones from the repositories and they weren’t new enough. I would recommend downloading the ones from Google directly.

That’s because it’s just simply money. Can you buy drugs with it? Sure. But most people are going to buy towels for their bathroom and soap for their dispensers and food to put in their stomachs. It’s money just like any other. And money gets used for all sorts of things.

I’ve bought two things from there so far and it’s worked out well. However, I did try to buy one other thing and it did not work out. So what I advise very seriously is use the escrow system if you are dealing with somebody with very low reputation or trades or find somebody who has high reputation and trades to do business with.

I was being too trusting, one buying some hand soap. And a person with zero reputation decided to take my Monero and not send me the soap. And so I had to buy it from somebody with a better reputation. So just don’t make that mistake and you’ll be alright.
