How are we Beehaw? My great-grandmother (God bless her) told me not to worry about Trump and that we’ll be alright. I want to believe her. I really do. I’m already a little ticked off at him retracting some civil rights laws, also making it so Black History can’t be taught in schools? It really will be a long four years.

I’m sorry you are going through this.

I hope folks finally realise that the only way this can be stopped is fighting within and without the system, especially those who historically have not done so due to their comfort with the benefit it provides them.

it’s going to be alot longer that 4 years. longer after Trump is rotting in the dirt the policies and choices he makes and the congress and the supreme court make will continue to haunt us. choices have consequences now we all got to live with them.

I’ve tried tuning myself out to no avail. Every bit of news since the inauguration has had a negative effect on my mental health, and I do not see it getting any better. All I can hope for, is that my friends are safe and happy.

He really is going all out to mess things up. None of it makes any sense. It feels like he’s got an agenda he’s being fed. I didn’t understand the goal. What’s the endgame?

I can only hope at least the states can step up where the federal government is failing us right now.

A lot of people like to think that everything will work out okay. It’s easier to think everything will be fine than to focus on the terrible things that are happening.

Then on the other side you have people that know things are bad, but give up because they don’t know how to fix things.

I think eventually we’ll make it through this, but you can’t just be passively hopeful.

Things are bad and will get worse. But tons of people are actively working together to prevent as much damage as possible, supporting each other, and working towards a better world. As things get worse, more people will try to find ways to help each other.

We need spiteful hope and stubborn optimism. There are always ways to make things better, no matter how bad they get.

I’m so very sorry that the entire world has to endure the hatred of this administration. It’s fucking disgusting and an embarrassment to so many decent people. Know this…there are proportionally more loving people than the handful of assholes the media is focusing on. We will be survive and become stronger than ever before.
