Spending your retirement in the US is a huge fuck-you to Canada to begin with. You extracted a retirement’s worth of wealth from Canada and then you hand half of it in another country.

I think that’s a win for everyone… Canada is such a gorgeous country and there’s so much to see and do here without having to venture across any borders.
