You don’t. Homegrown strawbs have spoiled me for life. As has homegrown asparagus, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and green beans. And quite a lot of other veg that I haven’t grown for a while now. But home strawbs a pretty damn special.

Got a decent amount but still very very green and the plants are clearly in distress.
Yass! Nothing compares. I would suggest planting in pretty much pure compost in a barrel or similar. Once it starts to yield though be prepared for asparagus for breakfast lunch and dinner for a few weeks. But so so good.

I have several Hex beds. Once I get the sunlight pattern figured out this is happening.

Omg! Just realised I will be able to put asparagus in the new garden. 💚
