The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office announced on Monday.
It would have been justified to kill the mother for trying to take care of her baby, it would also have been justified to kill her if she had wanted to get it aborted.
Objectively how can anyone say it’s justified to shoot a baby? What the fuck are we doing?
They aimed for the mother and hit the baby by accident. The mother was accused of stealing diapers.
Like, this whole thing is fucked up. Nonviolent offenses do not warrant the use of lethal force.
