What specifically do you mean, which era? Where are we talking about replicating this era, the former Soviet states or elsewhere? Are we also adopting new tech, like modern computers, or are we retaining the Soviet level of computation? I don’t think it makes much sense to refer to a nebulous “soviet model,” as I think that leans towards Utopian thinking, rather than Scientific.

Since the Soviet economy was a product of its material conditions and at all times had different levels of development of the productive forces, it can’t be simply seen as a “model” of how to do Socialism. There are aspects that can be implemented elsewhere, and there are aspects that were due to the unique conditions of the USSR in different eras.

Applying Marxism-Leninism in analysis in building Socialism is universal, though it will need modifications depending on conditions. That aspect does hold up, undoubtedly, and without needing to take care for era. Socialism works. Public ownership and planning works, though at different degrees depending on conditions.
