Alright, so follow me here. In Germany, they did this to steal money and assets, and feed fervor. Here in the US, what assets do these people have? The average person has a slightly negative net worth and puts more into the economy than they have. So not only is this utterly abominable, morally unquestionably vile, it’s also economically stupid. They’re pulling us over toward the edge, toward instability. And for what? To make fascists feel like we’re doing something as a country? Disgusting.

What is happening to America is what we saw start happening to businesses in the 70s and 80s. Corporate raiders buy up a business to saddle it with their own debt, transfer all wealth out, and eventually bankrupt it and part it out.
The wealthy finally have enough money and power to start doing this to big countries. The end result they are going for is several smaller countries, each controlled by a different corporate structure, none of which will be able to stop them as they go after other countries.
This is not “trump’s plan”. He is just doing what he always does, destroying a business while he remains legally clear of showing that he is doing so intentionally, enriching himself and the people who paid him to do it in the process.
