Unrelated but during 2022 COVID times I was accosted by someone while in a supermarket, simply for performing the act of touching several bananas and not buying them (checking for brown spots).
They said “Why do you touch all the bananas with your bare hands!!”
I replied back as they walked away “Do you eat the peel as well as the fruit???”
How else do you get the peel down?
