Leftover lumberjack food (potatoes, kielbasa, peppers and onions baked in the oven) that’s been in the freezer with cheese and sour cream. Leftover cornbread and a fried goose egg that had to break and ruin a perfect picture opportunity. Goose egg yolks love to break unless you are extra careful.

I’m super proud of myself for guessing that before actually reading the post. Scored 100% on my guess, but sadly missed the sausage. If i wasn’t about to eat, I’d want some! Haven’t had a goose egg since i was about 12 or so.

Does the sour cream come in bags in your neck of the woods? I thought it’s quite region specific product along with bagged milk.

Random thought: have you tried to make a devilled egg out of goose egg?

Daisy sells both tubs and squeeze bags here. The squeeze bag costs a little bit more but it’s worth it for convenience and preventing spoiling. It’s literally the only premium packaged item I buy.

I’ve thought about it but one meal sized goose egg is more novelty than proper food item. I’ll do it eventually but probably for a potluck.
