Republic = Representative“America is a Democratic Republic!” just means you have democratically elected representatives acting for the people… To represent the people’s will, democratically.
It’s just a sentence said to defend the electoral college.

I wouldn’t say “the us is a corporation” is necessarily a sign of how bad things are. It’s a common argument from sovcits on why they don’t have to pay taxes, and may just be normal crazy bleeding through and not our advanced crazy we are currently experiencing.
“Us is not a democracy” is in response to republican lawmakers and pundits “reminding” everyone that the us isn’t and has never been a democracy. Just totally normal things for politicians to be doing.
