    I will never forgive Lincoln for not telling the south to not let the door hit their asses on the way out.

      He died before he could see Reconstruction through, and his successor killed it.

      Mind, Lincoln should have mass executed all significant leaders in the south. Offering mercy to those of a Nazi bearing always ends up damaging society. Better to put them down, rather than letting the infection fester.

            The south was completely uun by Confederates after the civil war, and they basically kept power to.this day.

              It’s a common problem for political reform. Because of gatekeeping, the people with the skillset and capital needed to run things tend to be aligned with the same ideology you’re trying to get rid of.
