ICE has no buisness detaining a US citizen. At most if they have committed a crime under their purview then they should arrest and then transfer them to a standard prison awaiting a bond hearing.

The authority ICE seems to have is disturbing

What’s the legality of a US citizen melting ice in a stand your ground state? How long before we see that unfold?

There was a recent arrest in my hometown, where they were driving around a neighborhood in unmarked, basically beater cars. They burst out of the cars, were wearing masks, and refused to identify themselves. The story also claimed there were no visible badges, but that the ICE logos were visible on a few of them. They arrested 3 young men from India, and that’s the last that’s been heard about it.

Point being, and I say this NOT as someone who’s out looking for a fight. I am a gun owning (many times over) liberal leaning centrist (most of the time). If I saw that shit going down in my neighborhood, I would probably have responded with an armed response. I will not stand idly by and watch my neighbors be drug from their homes by armed thugs.
