We shouldn’t minimize conservative policy by calling it “Trump policy”. That will just let them scapegoat him later if they choose to. They are ALL doing this together. All conservatives are evil, not just their chosen leader.
That is what I typically do - calling conservative policy “trumpism” is just letting cons skate away after they voted for this guy 3x then pretending they had no idea what their movement and their party is about.

It’s an obsession with the lost-cause myth of SA and Zimbabwe among the “”“thinkers”“” of white supremacy that these countries were prosperous and even equitable as racist colonial states but went to shit when “they” took power. The thesis statement being that Africa can only be successful if whites run things.
The other comment is also correct in that they also probably just want more racist whites who may be willing to carry a gun for the cause. White farmers holding off the “hordes” with guns is a common trope in that myth.
