I know you’re a lazy potato and all, but I hate seeing potato crimes. Get a bristle brush and scrub the dirt off. No need to peel the skin. Or switch from russet to yellow potatoes for a much thinner skin.
What if they’re mashing them?
Your mashed potatoes will have freckles. Just mash thoroughly, or use an electric hand mixer and it’s fine with red or yellow potatoes.
