Silicon Valley, whose top executives have cultivated close relationships with Donald Trump, is now pushing him to pressure Australia to relax its regulations or risk retaliation.

i for one wouldn’t mind if we wholesale banned social media altogether if it couldn’t play by Australia’s rules.

    He aint the president here. And we still hold pine gap that they very much need. Then again are either party gonna play hardball? Albo wont and dutton is too busy sucking trump off to complain.

    The News Bargaining Incentive was a shake down itself. It should be scraped. Most Australian media companies are the same trash as social media and should shutdown if they cannot survive. At least tech provides useful services other than propaganda channels for connected politicians.
