    It’s important to note that 96-99% of the Azerbaijanis are muslims.

      This is just pan-turkic nationalism. I noticed in the last decade how anti-arab sentiments became popular in Turkey and its cultural sphere, even the diaspora.

      The Hijab and Burqa is seen as a vector of foreign arab influence.
