Ahh, right, the ole addiction isn’t a disease take. I keep running into your dumbass. I wish I didn’t. If it was just a choice, it’d be easy to say no.

But, we both know I’m not going to change your opinion, so let’s just move on with our lives, and you can keep being a shitty person.

I drank alcoholically for 15 years. I’ve been to AA and addiction counselors. In the end, I just got tired of it and quit. I quit benzodiazepines on my own; it’s all garbage to say it’s not a choice. Any addict anywhere in the world right at this moment could quit if they wanted to. That’s not a disease. You can’t quit AIDS or cancer. You are wrong. Period.

You’re one person, a single data point. That’s not how science works. You don’t get to decide it’s a choice bcz something worked for you. My entire family is filled with alcoholics, im not even have this debate with you. There’s tons of scientific studies that do not support your argument. But, data and facts never work against anecdotes and emotional responses like yours. Again, as I said, your opinion will not be changed, as I figured. And its not supported by any science whatsoever. You can keep your anecdotes and do shitty science somewhere else.

Hmm the way I remember science is that if a theorem is tested and one in the control group has one reaction and the other one in the control group has a different reaction, said test is deemed unprovable. Is it not? There’s 0 scientific FACT that say undoubtedly that addiction is 100% a disease and if it does, it’s skewed. I know plenty of people that quit and now drink nornally. Myself, my step dad, my cousin… the list goes on. You are probably an AA junkie where they switch the addiction to God and tell you it’s impossible to quit on your own without a higher power lmao. I guess I’m a Fucking anomaly then cuz I quit by myself and I’m an atheist. Lmfao

Youre making a lot of assumptions there. I have never done hard drugs of any kind in my life, and I don’t really drink that much.
