The driver of a passenger bus attacked on Thursday in the city of Gorlovka, DPR, by a Ukrainian drone, died, the city’s mayor, Ivan Prikhodko, announced.
“Only the blind one wouldn’t see that this is a civil bus. If (the bus) hadn’t had an electronic anti-drone system and the driver hadn’t changed course at the last moment, there could have been ten times more casualties. The passenger bus was filled with people. The drone changed course and crashed in front of the bus. Unfortunately, the driver was injured, but he still fulfilled his civic duty to the very end!” the official wrote on his Telegram channel.
Later it was announced, that the driver died.
Ukrainian attacks on Gorlovka is a daily thing. Today (as for 2 P.M.), five people were injured because of cluster munitions. Ukrainian drones attack public transports, even trolley cars.
