I dislike Harris but nobody gains anything of value arguing over who they think will be worse. It’s the most pointless argument made up just so entitled folks living in a hyper-individualized society can feel like they’re correct.
I can tell you one thing though: Harris didn’t have a Project 2025 teed up and ready to go. But also who fucking cares? There are people in my community I’ve had to talk down from committing suicide just yesterday due to the state our country is in because of policies that wouldn’t be in place if Harris had won.

I think you misunderstand where my “who cares” comment comes from. I care about the actual outcome (which is currently terrible as everyone predicted). I just think it’s a pointless thing to fight about. I don’t care about “both sides bad” crap. I care about what we’re going to do now that a fascist is here, and planning ahead for the worst.
The whole thing leading up to the election where people argued over who was worse was tiresome and divisive of people that should be aligned. Conservatives still voting for Trump are a lost cause but leftists have common ground and shouldn’t be wasting their time arguing over something that ultimately leads nowhere. They should be preparing for the worst case scenario as a unified front.
Fine let’s provide that united front next time Democrats put out a candidate that doesn’t check all the boxes. Even if it’s Harris running again.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the solution to Trump running a third time was the democrats running the same candidate that lost to him already.
