Well then how about this, rather than just throwing a book of stuff out and telling us to divine what it is in your mind, you just state what it is that members of Congress, with a minority in both houses, no presidential power, and a screwed SCOTUS, are supposed to be doing at this time then? You’ve said that blocking appointments and filibustering the Senate is useless theater, so what exactly would you propose?

First, booker is not blocking an appointment.

Filibusters are only useful if they’re blocking legislation and he’s not doing that either; it’s only political theater.

Republicans use the quorum rules when they’re a minority, but the Democrats won’t do they have decided that decorum matters more that fascism.

Finally, fascism has been in the pipeline for atleast 40 years and expecting a silver bullet is unrealistic; read the documentation that you demanded.

The fact that he spoke at length exceeding a record previously held by a segregationist and that people are discussing what happened and why says he did something of note. What have you done to the same effect?

I can specifically say that the quorum rules where used in MN to deny the Republicans a speakership and they tried to go around them with some theater vote that was shot down. If such is available then I would expect them to use it federally but right now the executive balance is on a tear doing everything they want through unilateral action, you can’t procedure your way out of that, so actions have been focused of court challenges for a large part. Budget matters, yeah Schumer is a vitch and caved, if people had shown up to elect a Dem Congress or President that wouldn’t even be a factor to deal with though, ounce of prevention > pound of cure and all that.

Personally I would say they should do https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downfall_(2004_film) but that’s a way off… I didn’t ask for a book at any point. I asked what should they, the people in congress, be doing outside of what Sanders/AOC are going around the country, or Booker speaking for a day straight against the current nonsense, what would you propose they do other than to RTFM?
