The Liaison Strategies poll suggests Brad Bradford narrowly leads the campaign with 49 per cent support, while Olivia Chow has 47 per cent amongst decided and leaning voters surveyed. Three per cent of respondents picked another candidate in the race.

He’s also ahead in the latest Mainstreet poll. Not great.

Tax increase…it’s literally as simple as that. People are selfish and short sighted.

Person: oh my subsided suburban life costs a tiny bit more or my transfer of properties. (Lowest tax in major cities in North america).

Same Person: why do my kids schools or my roads suck.

    …

    Idiocracy.

I think that since Olivia Chow assumed office that there’s been a constant stream of emotion-based thought ending statements like the one I responded to.

Just being incredibly dismissive of her but without anything to base it on. “We need real choices” - as if Olivia hasn’t been the only mayor in Toronto in quite some time to offload so much cost back to the province and improve the social services (if even marginally) than any predecessor. Really strange.

Because they are deflecting. She hit home owners pocket a little bit which is enough. But they dont want to admit that they don’t want to fund services etc.
