As no matter what you chose, politicians will find a way to fuck the average joe over, to satisfy the interests of them and their investors.
As designed, the system allows you (the citizen) to platform yourself and put yourself and beliefs into the system directly. If the greater of 2 evils that was elected into office this time allows the system to continue on as designed after he leaves you may be the representative the American public is looking for.
The implication that I read from this is to not vote and then (presumably) claim no personal responsibility when the system works against you, yet if all you can do is vote to steer the country away from a cliff, wouldn’t it be irresponsible to at least not try to pick a direction?
