As an additional layer of stupid, most of the “low pressure” seen in showers is due to water saver shower heads and have nothing to do with the pressure going to or in the home. So this literally proposing that the government regulates your water regulating shower heads.

Not only that but every house I’ve ever lived in has a pressure reducing valve right after the main shutoff. My current one drops the 150psi city pressure down to about 60psi for use in the house.

And it likely predates Obama. This is just weird and invasive government shit.

Just another ”fascist playbook” thing. Declaring war on pointless, or almost pointless, stuff to make people feel that the country is ”under attack” and to downplay actual important stuff

Also part of the “dominionist playbook”, which states that YHWH gave the earth to humans to dominion over it, which they think mean “should deplete its resources ASAP without any second thought”.

Any chance he’s doing this so he has another excuse to try to go after Canada’s supply of fresh water?

Remember when Obama used a few executive orders and the Republicans accused him of trying to be a king?

executive orders are better than laws since executive orders have no weight and are easily undone next administration.

They’re massively performative and make the plebs and cretins who think politics is WWF theater feel like things are happening. They can be hugely destructive and cause massive repercussions, but they’re not as long-reaching and permanent as actual policies and bills being passed through house and senate.

They are also very commonly used by most modern presidents, but most of them haven’t had much attention brought to them, while Trump’s basically all have. Mostly because they’re pretty much all stupid and/or controversial.

And that most of them exceed the authority of the President and Executive Branch. See climate change related EO.

“In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair,” Trump said as he signed the executive order. “I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”

All this reminds me of is that video of that guy who’s friend “upgraded” his shower pressure. And it was just one hyper-powerful stream out of the whole shower head. Wish I had a link.

This is a ploy from big bidet to take over our toilets with pristine water pressure that can douche-clean your asshole and I won’t stand for it, god damnit!
