Pretty good fucking party line honestly. My mother, who has not been fond of my communist leanings, told me a couple months ago that she thinks China is now the lesser of two evils.
I’ve thought that for a long time but I have that dirty commie bias. Nice to see that as time marches on I’m being proven right.
It is my experience that some people have to find out for themselves. It can be vindicating, but it’s mostly exhausting (again, in my experience). 😩

As much as I dislike the US right now, China has the 9 9 6 and just as many human rights violations as we do both covered up and not. As far as I’m concerned China doesn’t treat it’s people well enough to save us or anyone else.
