Just one of the many great examples of Vio-Lence. Hoping to see them live at some point. I have to admit I feel a little stupid… I thought Lich King’s cover of this song was an original song, until I heard this today for the first time (heard the first half of Eternal Nightmare a long, long time ago, forgot I never finished the album 😅). Had a bit of a shock when I saw I hadn’t finished the album, and another when I saw the title in the tracklist xD.

Going to admit that this falls into the category of “bands that I’d heard a lot of chatter about but never really sat down and listened to.” I really fell in love with the guitar and drum work here, it’s complex enough to be interesting, but far from the sometimes masturbatory “technical” side of things. Vocals took a bit longer for me to get used to but once I did I actually kind of like it, I’ll blame the mix instead of admitting that I’m just a philistine.
Yeah I know what you mean. Truth be told I sorta didn’t understand it when I first heard it, and the vocals got on my nerves. They’ve grown on me somewhat recently though, and having heard the album a few times round, I’ve grown to love it! Especially Calling in the Coroner!
