Not being able to smoke anywhere in any building (I know, bad for you and all). You can smoke anywhere in France. Also the metric system is what I learned so that makes measurements and numbers strange. I miss my family the most but I get to see them often actually.

Uhm, that’s not true. You can’t smoke in buses, supermarkets, cinemas, etc in France. Don’t know what op is referring to.

I suspect op hasn’t set foot in France since the early 2000s, if ever. Smoking in public places has been banned since 2007
Any building? The last time ive been to france (2015 I think) it was as restricted as in the rest of EU.
