        It does if they are a traitor/leader of an insurrection.

        Also, putting trump in jail would have limited the amount of lies he could spew during the campaign. His lawyers would have to relay his comments, and they have a duty to tell the truth, or be disbarred.

      First part, that’s how a lot of the public saw it, regardless of whether or not it was true. Which is why the second part.
