So it sounds like ICE was using state resources and officers to hold him but he was freed because of a state judges rule? This doesn’t sound so much like ICE/feds giving up. But them testing which state resources and judges will play ball and who needs to be “removed”.
While it is important to report these stories, and while I understand everything moves fast, this is old news.
