Oooh, DLC cheevos blocking 100% completion has been a pain point for me so this is really nice.
It could be nice if the developers care enough to go back and update their achievements.
I wonder if the game devs have to edit that or if it will be automatic
No, it needs to be updated for every single game. Steam cannot know groupings without the meta information that is needed.
