I used to think Daily Show was informative when I was in college a few decades ago. I don’t know if I’d call it that now.
Take the ‘enhanced’ version of Daily Show (Last Week Tonight) for example. It seems very informative at face value but if Oliver ever talks about a topic you have any depth of knowledge in, you realize how reductive it is.
The US doesn’t have many (any?) legitimate TV news outlets anymore. Most would be best off reading AP or Reuters directly.
Literally everything has some form of bias. Journalists try their best (or in the case of right wing media, they don’t) but they’re as susceptible as any of us.
