Most people don’t care because they benefited or at least they think they did from some or all of these atrocities.
Fed government used to give European immigrants free or cheap land and people think that’s grate. They are unable or I willing to connect thalw dots on how that land was acquired. It their minds it is two different events.
Or banking industry being tied to slave trade but bring that up is uncouth in “polite” company.
The regime relies on people having these reactions, otherwise people got start asking the hard questions.
I think that just are genuinely unaware of our true history.
Or, atleast, I hope so.
