The fascist dictator demands all state insurance recipients work a set number of hours per month to qualify for their insurance now. And the exemptions exclude people with mental health issues.

So who else will no longer have medications or therapists as of the turn of the new year?

Sorry to hear homie. You’re not alone. It’s gonna be a rough ride the next two years. Hopefully there’s light at the end of this tunnel.

For anyone (able bodied) about to be forced off antidepressants, I know in my own depressed heart and brain how much you don’t want to hear this, but cardiovascular oriented exercise is as effective, statistically, as antidepressants.

I am on antidepressants. I wouldnt wanna switch it for exercise. But if you’re in some kind of position where a lack of medication is likely to see you getting fired, please take my advice.

You want your exercise to basically force meditation. You want just enough brain bandwidth to focus on breathing. It’s archaic, but it can silence rumination better than my antidepressants; its why I hike. You wanna go at a pace where you won’t need to stop for a break, but you if someone made you laugh it’d make you briefly fall to the ground to catch your breath.

    Good luck out there y’all.

I wish I had some advice for those of us not so able bodied. If anyone’s got any tips, I’m sure someone will appreciate it.
