I wonder if Protas’ injury is getting the Backstrom 2018 treatment, where he could have already joined if it were deemed necessary but we’d rather give him time until we lose a game.
I think this is going to be a hard one for the Caps. This one feels like a likely one for their goal tender to steal. The first two games have been pretty close.
Hopefully I’m wrong and it’s well in favor of the Caps, though.
