Of all things, why would anyone want to keep x11 alive?
Can’t argue with options, especially if the maintenance isnt taking away any resources from the main KDE dev team.
But legacy support is nice, Wayland changed a lot and breaks a couple workflows still, like a lot of accessibility software.
by init system did they mean sysv-init
systemd is just better. no reason to regress
There are other init system other then sys V and systemD
Systemd is such a bundle of hot garbage.
