The FDA’s website lists a Class II recall as “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

According to the FDA, the recall includes multiple varieties of Brush Buddies kids toothpaste distributed nationwide, including some character-themed and ice-cream flavors. The recall also included two types of Evo products marketed for teeth whitening and sensitivity, and two Aru products marketed for gum health and cavity protection.
