Just some quick pics from my phone through the binoculars.

Red Bellied Woodpecker was blocking all the holes on the tube feeder, and this little Wren really wanted access. It darted back and forth from my beanpoles to the woodpecker a dozen times, but the woodpecker did not show a care.

I really liked the vibe of the takeoff pic and the last one where it seems to be giving the stink eye to the RBW.

      Sadly, I think the answer was “never.”

      The wren finally gave up and took off, and naturually the woodpeacker left about 10 seconds later, finally giving way to the now non-present wren. Such is life.
