I managed to get a pretty good deal for the 32GB model so I took it. I’ve always wanted one but the first one was way too underpowered. This one is no speed demon either but for most creative work, it’s bloody amazing. I have stopped doing creative work for quite a few years now and this is the first time I felt myself wanting to work on projects again. I’ll be moving to a smaller place in 2 months and will need to chose between the two. For the first time ever I’m actually contemplating putting away my modded 20" iMac G4 which is my all time favourite computer design. I actually stayed up late last night marvelling at the surface and for an almost 40 year old, that’s no easy feat. I’m a little sad that they’ve discontinued this lineup as I was hoping to upgrade this in 2-3 years when the newer ones become cheaper.

Any other studio owners here? Any tips to share? I was looking through youtube and reddit but there was surprisingly not many posts/videos about it. Anyone own the dial? Is it worth it?
