Are we at the point that we need to form a mutual-defense pact (or re-assert The Commonwealth, ie. petition UK, Australia et al)?
We were already at that point, that’s why the last decade has had a massive EU and CANZUK membership push
Trudeau tanked our free trade deal with the UK because they wouldn’t drop their food standards to the American level (which is lower than our own)
Idk bud, I’m from Vancouver but living in Scotland, and the current Labour government seems pretty happy to gob Trump’s knob to keep mutual defence and trade deals going.
Been thinking about making a similar move myself. What brought you out there, for how long are you intending to stay, and where in Scotland did you settle?
