anyone familiar with seed bombing? i love growing things, especially when they support pollinators or feed the birds so i’m intrigued by the idea, but i’m wondering if there’s a zine or something for tips on how to do it effectively.

plant natives to the area.
yea, gradually removing the lawn where i live and replacing. it’s been great seeing all the insects and birds native plants attract. just trying to think about ways to have a positive impact gestures broadly

This is super imporant!
Came here to say similar! Seed bombs are awesome! Provided one isn’t scattering invasive, and/or species that aren’t balanced by the local wildlife. 🖖🏼
FWIW to those with the interest: hemp is generally a good neighbor, and looks like a tomato or pepper plant for most of its cycle, leading up to fruiting. Just sayin’. 💁🏼♂️
!nolawns@slrpnk.net agrees with it being native. Speaking of, is there a plant native or native planting community? I think beehaw has one but I also think they defederated with a lot of people.
