I’m working on an Android platform climber and got stuck on the revive screen.
On paper, watching a rewarded ad to return to the platform is just another option. In the middle of a run, though, it also interrupts that quick “okay, one more try” moment.
I added a fall continue and an interstitial two days ago, then reverted both changes. The game still has rewarded ads, with no in-app purchases.
If you fall in a climbing game, do you want that continue button at all? Do you ignore it, use it occasionally, or does seeing it make you less likely to retry?
I’ll never play a game that has ads in it, sorry. Additionally, if a game is not open source and made available on F-Droid, I’m not going to even bother in the first place.
I will never watch an ad, and resent the option
i won’t even look at it if i know it has ads :p
